Dr. Patrick Bitter Jr. and Dr. Jason Pozner’s retrospective study on the effects of BroadBand Light (BBL) has been published in Cosmetic Dermatology®, a peer-reviewed journal about improving, repairing, and renewing the skin. BroadBand Light (BBL) is a nonablative treatment designed to rejuvenate the skin, and the study looked at 15 participants to evaluate the long-term antiaging effects regular treatment had on their perceived age. Almost 500 evaluators analyzed clinical photographs of the participants before and after a median of nine years, and they perceived them to have aged a median of only two years or fewer. The results of this study indicate that regular annual or biannual BBL treatments can reduce and delay the long-term signs of skin aging.
